WHY DO WE HAVE A MENTOR PROGRAM?
​

Our mentor/mentee program is a great way to meet other girls throughout WIB, share advice, and make amazing connections! Below is the link to submit info from your meeting to earn your 2 mentor/mentee program points for the semester.

Ideas and Topics to talk about

  • Get to know each other

  • Current classes  

  • Recommend professors 

  • How the semester is going

  • Talk about internships & advice you have

 

Share advice and collaborate 
  • Share your resume! Provide recommendations for each other and watch out for spelling errors.

  • Ask for advice or explain ideas for resumes, cover letters, interview tips, and more.

 

Where should you meet and for how long?
  • The Bone Student Center and the Milner Library are great spots!

  • The State Farm Hall of Business has the atrium seating and even private study rooms.

  • There are plenty of local coffee shops or places to grab  some food together!

  • When meeting with your mentor or mentee try to meet for at least 30 minutes to an hour to really make the most of your meeting!​​​​​
