September 19th #WCW: Gabby Haskell
The first #WCW of the semester is Gabby Haskell. She is a Sophomore Food Nutrition and Dietetics Major. This is her second semester in WIB and she loves the community that WIB is! A fun fact about Gabby is that she absolutely loves dogs, her dog Casper even has his own Instagram. Make sure to give him a follow, @casperthefriendlydoodle. May 2nd #WCW: Hanna Lafond
This weeks #WCW was Hanna Lafond. She is a Junior Business Administration Major. This is her first semester in WIB and her favorite thing is meeting new people within the organization. She was a transfer student and her favorite memory is Welcome Week. A fun fact is that she'll be working at Meijer this summer! Thanks for being our #WCW, Hanna!

April 25th #WCW: Susie Mareci
This weeks #WCW was Susie Mareci! She is a Junior Business Administration Major with a minor in Organizational Leadership. This is her second semester in WIB and she loves making friends, hearing the speakers, and her mentor group. She is taking nine credit hours this summer so she can graduate in three years! A fun fact about her is that she has an identical twin who is also in WIB named Katie. Thanks for being our #WCW Susie!
April 18th #WCW: Melissa Mutters
This weeks #WCW is Melissa Mutters! Melissa is a Sophomore Business Administration major with a minor in Organizational Leadership. This is her first semester in WIB, and she loves the fact that all of the members care about getting to know each other personally. A fun fact about her is that she has been a competitive bowler since she was four years old, and she is on the varsity bowling team here at ISU! Thanks for being our #WCW, Melissa!
April 11th #WCW: Meghan Wright
This week, our #WCW is Meghan Wright! She is a Junior Business Administration major with a minor in Organizational Leadership. This is her first semester in WIB, and she loves meeting new people! She especially loves the mentor groups because she gets to network and get different ladies' perspectives on the workplace. She works at the Children's Place here in Normal! A fun fact is that she is a huge fan of Dunkin Donuts and their French Vanilla Coffee is her favorite. Thanks for being our #WCW, Meghan!
April 4th #WCW: Hanah Olson
This week, our #WCW is Hanah Olson! She is a Sophomore Accounting major at ISU, and this is her first semester in WIB! She says she really likes her mentor group which is a smaller group of women in WIB that get to know each other more closely, and offer advice to one another! She knows that if she has any questions, her mentor Nicole can always help answer them. A fun fact about her is that her favorite drink is a Caramel Iced Coffee at Dunkin.
March 28th #WCW: Kaylee Slavens
Kaylee Slavens is our #WCW this week! Kaylee is a sophomore Business Administration major here at ISU. This is her first semester in WIB, and she loves all of the connections she has made through WIB's supportive members. A fun fact about her is her favorite Starbucks drink is a Chai Tea Latte (light ice). Thanks for being our #WCW, Kaylee!
March 21st #WCW: April Haines
This week on WIB Wednesday our #WCW is April Haines! April is a senior Business Management- Organizational Leadership major with a minor in Spanish. This is her first semester in WIB, and she says she loves everything about it! She especially enjoys how inviting WIB is and how everyone supports one another in her endeavors. She just got a job at Young America and would like to go into real estate as a career. A fun fact about her is that she is fluent in Spanish and she lived in Spain for 9 months. March 7th #WCW: Teresa Greenwald
Our lucky #WCW for this week is Teresa Greenwald! Here at ISU she is a freshman accounting major, and this is her first semester in WIB! Her favorite thing about WIB is how women empower one another to succeed, and she loves the feeling that every member supports one another in her goals. A fun fact about Teresa is that she was adopted when she was one from China. Thanks for being our #WCW Teresa!
February 28th #WCW: Mary Jorgensen
Mary Jorgensen is our fourth #WCW of the semester! She is a Sophomore here at ISU and a general Marketing major. This is her first semester in WIB, and she loves the speakers and getting to know new people. Her hometown is Hoffman Estates, IL. A fun fact about her is that she plays the flute!
February 21st #WCW: Mairead McGillian
Mairead McGillian is our third #WCW of the semester. She is a Sophomore here at ISU, and her major is Business Administration. This is her second semester in WIB. Her favorite thing about being in WIB is meeting new people, and learning about how to be a professional business woman in the real world. A fun fact about her is that she is from Philadelphia! February 7th #WCW: Baylee Burklund
Baylee Burklund is our second #WCW of the semester. She is a junior at ISU majoring in HR Management with an Organizational Leadership minor. This is her second semester in WIB, and her favorite thing about WIB is getting to meet new people! She currently has an internship in the HR department at Marcfirst, which is a company that helps people with disabilities. A fun fact about her is that she is a highpoint and national championship speedboat racer!
January 31st #WCW: Morgan Ash
New semester, new #WCWs! Morgan Ash is a freshman chemistry major here at ISU. This is her second semester in WIB. Her favorite part about WIB is the mentor groups; they give WIB a great community aspect and she loves to get to know people. A fun fact about her is that she has been to 7 countries, but Belgium is her favorite- they have the best waffles!
November 29th #WCW: Becky Jaynes
Becky Jaynes is our sixth #WCW of the semester. Becky is a junior HR major. This is her third semester in WIB, and she says she would like to be a WIB mentor next semester. Her favorite part about WIB is all the new people she has met. She got an internship with Enterprise as a sale management trainee. Her favorite drink from Starbucks is an iced mocha with cream & sugar!
November 8th #WCW: Brooklyn Jewsbury
Brooklyn Jewsbury is our fifth #WCW of the semester. Brooklyn is a freshman Business Administration major. This was her first semester being involved with Women in Business, and she says her favorite event with WIB was the Lunch & Conversation that was held in early October. She really enjoys listening to the guest speakers during our weekly meetings, and she hopes to be more involved next semester with Women in Business. Awesome job this semester for being involved and keep up the hard work! It is recognized!
October 25th #WCW: Kate Nedza
Kate Nedza is our fourth #WCW of the semester. She is a sophomore Marketing major hoping to follow the Integrated Marketing Communications sequence. Her favorite thing about Women in Business is getting closer with different people. She is really looking forward to interviewing for a position executive board and hopes to become the Secretary or VP of Marketing next semester. Her favorite drink at Dunkin' Donuts is a frappuccino. Good job being involved with WIB and for making a difference in our organization!
October 11th #WCW: Bailey Kimmel
We apologize Bailey that we were not able to do a personal interview with you and get your picture taken by our photographer! However, Bailey introduced herself at the end of the meeting and shared with us that she is a transfer student from Heartland Community College and will be entering her junior year as a Legal Studies major. September 20th #WCW: Erin Collins
Erin is adding to our list of lovely #WCW's. She is currently a junior Human Resource Management major. This is her second semester in WIB and loves that WIB is about women getting together to better themselves. Last week, she really enjoyed the meeting about empowering other women and was inspired by our guest speaker, Lacey Bordewick. Her goal for this school year is to be more involved with WIB and Human Resource Management Society. Her favorite drink to get at Dunkin' is a caramel iced coffee with cream and sugar. Way to go Erin! Hard work pays off!
September 13th #WCW: Karlie Hanson
Karlie is our first #WCW this semester. She is a freshman Marketing major. One thing she is excited about this school year is furthering her education and being a part of the ISU campus. She loves how WIB is about empowering other women and is excited about meeting new girls and learning more about the business world. Karlie also worked at a coffee shop back home over the summer and was super excited about winning a Dunkin Donuts gift card. She says she plans on buying a flavored latte with it. Nice job Karlie! Keep up the good work!
