Jamie wieland-financial advisorDr. Wieland is an Associate Professor in the Department of Management and Quantitative Methods. She obtained her Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University and B.S. in Industrial Engineering and Management Science from Northwestern University. Her research interests lie in the development and application of statistical methods and probability models for prediction and decision analysis, with an expertise in Monte Carlo simulation. Wieland's current research involves assessing the operational and financial impact of portable technologies used for on-site analysis of forensic evidence during crime scene investigation processes. This interdisciplinary project is funded by the National Institute of Justice and was recently featured in the Chicago Tribune. Dr. Wieland has been the Women in Business advisor since Spring 2018!

chiharu ishida-Communications advisorDr. Ishida (Ph.D: Virginia Tech) is a Professor of Marketing at Illinois State University, and she has been actively involved in the development of Advanced Marketing Analytics sequence for Marketing majors and Business Analytics Minor for non-Marketing, as well as Master’s concentration in Business Analytics. Her primary research interests focus on Business-to-Business relationships, and interdisciplinary research such as public policy, sales, and Big Data. As of 2020, she has published over 18 journal articles, countless conference proceedings and presentations. She is also a co-coordinator of Marketing internships in the Department of Marketing, and is actively involved in industry outreach. Her main teaching interest is Marketing Strategy and anything Analytics-related to make smarter Marketing decisions.
