Meet our Advisor - Jamie Wieland
Dr. Wieland is an Associate Professor in the Department of Management and Quantitative Methods. She obtained her Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University and B.S. in Industrial Engineering and Management Science from Northwestern University. Her research interests lie in the development and application of statistical methods and probability models for prediction and decision analysis, with an expertise in Monte Carlo simulation. Wieland's current research involves assessing the operational and financial impact of portable technologies used for on-site analysis of forensic evidence during crime scene investigation processes. This interdisciplinary project is funded by the National Institute of Justice and was recently featured in the Chicago Tribune.

Meet our Student Advisor - Kacie Jesiolowski
Kacie is currently a student here at Illinois State University pursuing the Accounting BS/MPA program, with her expected graduation date in May 2021. Kacie was the President of Women in Business for the 2018-2019 school year, and was the Director of Membership before taking on the role of President. She is now taking on the position as the student advisor for Women in Business, where she will act as an advisor the the executive board and as a mentor to an abundant amount of Women in Business members. Kacie is excelling at ISU with an exceptional grade point average while being involved in many organizations throughout campus. Her goal is to continue to build her professional profile and to take advantage of opportunities to grow and learn in order to prepare herself for a career in accounting. Kacie has recently accepted an internship with KPMG for the winter 2020 audit busy season!
